Born in 1978 in Rostock, in the East German Republic, Susi Vogel composes her poetic and committed universe from a bold, radical and stylish feminine stance.
She discovered the stage with opera performances in her hometown theater, as a singer in the children’s choir. Ten years later, she then went on to pursue dramatic art after leaving Germany. In 1997, she enrolled at the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris to study performing arts, then completed her acting training at the TNS in Strasbourg.
After a career as an actress in France, then Switzerland, she founded her first punk band Suzie Q and The Fuckers in Berlin, then recently became front-woman of the Belgian EBM duo Radikal Kuss, where she develops the articulation of technoid electronic music with her trilingual poetry.
Between 2009-2019, she works regularly as an actress for the Parisian radio station France Culture.
Since 2022 she combines electronic music and poetry in contempory performance art.
