Radikal Kuss is an enigmatic Belgian Techno Body Music duo hidden behind an idea: shake minds and bodies with their techno body concept. Poetic lyrics, erotic tension, powerful rhythm, dirty bass, and sharped synths.

D.G.: The project is born in Berlin with the track Ehrlichkeit. One voice on a simple beat. Reduise the tools to the essence of a message, readable for who can listen behind words and see behind energy. The energy as expression. As urgency of the here and now. Intensity comes from the belly and is an everyday feeling.

S.V.: Radikal Kuss is Techno Body with influences of the techno of the 80ies also of EBM, New Beat, Punk and New Wave. You feel it. The accent is on a an obsessive beat, an intuitive bassline and hot but punishig vocals. A female expression as hard as this from a man. I don’t see why not!

« Art does to be erotic. » like performer Marina Abramovics said. The artistical influences and reflexions on Dada, Joseph Beuys or German literature that nourish Radikal Kuss’s music and lyrics let appear tracks like a painting with several layers of colors. Music as an open door, an entrance into art.

D.G.: Everything starts from a point of vue. The writing, composing, the way how to express. A question of personal honesty and engagement. « Willing and unwilling sensations of the mind » as we can hear in Chantal’s The Realm. But producing music can still be « Do with what you have ».

S.V.: The importance of the project reclaims trueness of a coherent thinking and this of an alert and progressive personality that points out the need of interference with running rules and mutual support with values and people.

D.G.: The priority put on personal pleasure, also. Music as an identification act or participation in a certain musical process but always staying apart like something unique and already complete.

S.V.: Radikal Kuss is a project hidden behind an idea: to engage, without any compromises, in a powerful techno body music with punishing and percussive lyrics. Dirty beats, alarming synths, huge bass and erotic tension are the weapons to accomplish our urgent mission.
