"One day, while visiting a friend, I saw a record sleeve with an image of a woman in a mirror that caught my attention. Curious, I inserted the record into the player and pressed “play”. The first notes of the first track were striking. Calmly, with firm simplicity, my friend said 'no, not that song, not that one! She had already told me many stories of a love affair gone wrong. But the intensity of her refusal surprised me. It was then that I realised, without going into further detail, the extent to which she was affected by this passion linked to a region of Italy, Umbria. This prompted her to write. I wondered what the nature of this refusal was. The monster is what emerged from this experience as an ordinary witness."
