9 November 1989: Where were you on the day the Berlin Wall came down? How did you find out about it? How old were you? What did you do?

These and other questions were put to writers and artists from different disciplines, generations and countries. Please note that this is not a documentary, but a fictional work using real testimonies that are inserted into a narrative.

A woman, who calls herself a refugee from time, lives in present-day Berlin. In this city steeped in history, she hears echoes of events linked to the Wall or the fall of the Wall that gradually take precedence over her present life. The echoes are constructed from the answers to the questionnaires. The rest is fictional.

And the motive is twofold: to take the measure of the event that was and still is the fall of the Wall, and to work on the blurring of the boundaries between testimony and fiction.
